Dare to Flare
The new season is a upon us and we’re so excited to see that flares are making a comeback, pear shaped girls can I get a hallelujah?! Yes it’s official, they were not just a summer festival fling (we are still lusting over Kendall Jenners legs in ‘those’ flares at Coachella!) Still not convinced? Well, here are our favourite flared looks as well as the best flared high street finds. We’re just too good to you.
Yes, I know i’ve already banged on about Kendall’s outfit at Coachella, but they just look so good!
I love this look from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. She proves that flares don’t have to look boho, but that they can be smart and sophisticated too.
Style them up 70’s like Cara Delevigne in the new Topshop campaign! Still not ready to give up those skinnies? Opt for more of a narrower bootcut like Cara, for a similar look but without the excess fabric!
Vanessa Hudgens is without shadow of a doubt my favourite flared sister. No matter what way she styles them, it’s always effortless and chic.
Finally convinced? Here are the best flared high street finds…
These are the little beauties seen on Cara Delevingne and can be nabbed, yes you’ve guessed it, at Topshop. They are a little pricey at £40 so make sure you use your student discount to take them down to a much reasonable £36.

Channel your inner Huntington-Whiteley with these £32 bargains from Miss Selfridge. Keep them casual with a pair of trainers (a pair of Stan Smiths would be perfect!) and a slouchy crop top. Alternatively inject a little bit of sports luxe sophistication into them with a sexy cut away bralette or crop.
