MAKE-UP REVIEW - BARRY M CHISEL CHEEKS CONTOUR KIT

'Contouring' is a secret well-guarded by celebrities and supermodels for years, but 2015 is the year it's becoming a make-up trend for us mere mortals. If you've ever looked in the mirror, and longed for cheekbones or a slimmer face, contouring is the perfect make up trick for you!

What is contouring you ask? Made famous by celebrities such as Kim K, it involves enhancing your facial structure using make-up, specifically, a dark pressed powder, or bronzer. This is applied in the hollows of your cheeks, down both sides of your nose (to make it look slimmer), on your temples, and under your jawline.

 Additionally, a light concealer, lighter foundation or highlighter can also be applied down the middle of your nose, centre of your forehead, under your eyes, and just below your brow-bone.

A great budget contouring kit to achieve this make-up look is 'Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit' £6.49 (available at Boots, here).

The kit has three shades, including; a light shade (Step 1), to be used as a highlighter. A medium brown (Step 2), to be used as a bronzer. Finally, a dark brown (Step 3), to be used a contour shade.

This kit became available at Boots on 4th February 2015, and Superdrug on 11th February 2015, and has been selling out everywhere. If you're struggling to get your hands on one, I finally found this palette at Sheffield Train Station Superdrug, so I recommend trying there! 

I personally found this kit really simple to use, with the easy instructions it came with. Although this palette doesn't come with brushes, at under seven pounds for three shades (and essentially three separate products), I think it's amazing value for money!
