HEALTHY ALTERNATIVE TO PIZZA

Freshers is now over, and let's be honest after all that alcohol and all those takeaways, that I know you had too; we're all feeling a like we've put a bit of that freshers' fat on. Trying to eat healthily is so difficult though when your mum isn't cooking for you. So here's a recipe that is a favourite of mine, and a healthier alternative to pizza and to make it even better it only takes 10 minutes to make!
So here's what you're going to need:

-Wholemeal tortillas
-Mozzarella (Normally I go for the reduced fat one, to make it that little bit healthier, but Tesco had sold out. )
- Cherry tomatoes
-Pesto
- And any topping of your choice, I chose Prosciutto ham

First of all preheat your oven to 180˚

If you happen to have a pizza tray that would be handy for this, but if not it's not a problem.
With this recipe I layer two tortillas and do a filling in between (like a Domino's Double Decadence), it just makes it that bit more substantial for an evening meal.

So start by chopping up the mozzarella and sprinkle it over a tortilla...

Then, chop up the tomatoes and place them in a similar fashion...

Next, pop another tortilla on top of this one and spread pesto over it, as much or as little as you like..

Then you basically repeat the next two steps (this recipe really is for dummies)

Sprinkle your topping of choice over the rest of it

And then pop it in the oven, for about 5-7 minutes, depending on your oven, just keep an eye on it.
And voila, you have a quick and easy dinner, with less calories than a pizza and quicker than cooking one in the oven!

I hope you like it as much as i do!
