CELEBRITIES GO GOTH

Horaay it's Halloween! If there were any time of year to experiment with this seasons hot gothic trends, surely it would be Halloween. Have no fear though ladies, we're not talking about rocking a studded dog collar (I did try that look during my misguided youth and I did not pull it off!) but we are talking about luxurious fabrics such as silk, lace and velvets in gorgeous dark shades.
Still not sure if you can take a stroll to the dark side, have a look at some of our favourite gothic celebrities for inspo...

Florence Welch

Florence is a great example that you don't necessarily have to wear head to toe black to create a sexy, gothic look. Deep greens and emeralds look amazing on red heads and mixed with heavy fabrics and longer hemlines will make a gorgeous goth look.

Kristen Stewart

Mesh, mesh and more mesh! A little bit of mesh can really modernise a gothic look and break up the heaviness.

Lorde

I love Lorde's look, it's much more minimalistic, concentrating on strong silhouettes and textures. It's a younger, fresher take on the gothic look.

The Olsen Twins

Mary Kate and Ashley have done a very special thing with their style; they've taken goth and grunge and mixed it with a healthy dose of boho. This softens a look and makes it much more feminine.

Dita Von Teese

She is actual gothic royalty, I mean she was once married to Marilyn Manson! If you've got killer curves and want to add a bit of gothic glamour to your wardrobe- Dita is your new style crush. Think classic 50s shapes in deep sultry colours and you'll look as fabulous as Von Teese herself.
